Decision Support for Autism Outcomes in Education

Our Business

Autism is now diagnosed in 1:36 individuals. There has been a 500% increase in service providers in the last 10 years. Over half of those providers have less than 5 years of experience.

NonBinary Solutions (NBS) is a technology & consulting firm that designs Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) for autism service providers and educators that dramatically improve the quality and efficacy of decision-making by offering a systematic and standardized approach to planning in learning environments.

NBS’s interactive models solve several immediate problems in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) by significantly reducing the time required to complete and standardizing the process of evaluations and decision making with all relevant and up-to-date data and literature at the user’s fingertips. The CDSS act as an interactive mentor for educators and clinicians at a time when experienced mentors are difficult to find and retain.

Our Technology

Solution - Software for Quality that Scales

Clinical decision support systems are quickly becoming essential tools for educational institutions as the volume of available data increases alongside their responsibility to deliver value-based classroom experiences.

Reducing environmental variations and ensuring student and staff safety, and avoiding complications that can set students back, and that make the educator's job more difficult – and harnessing the hidden insights of big data is essential for achieving these goals.

Clinical decision support (CDS) tools are designed to help sift through enormous amounts of data to suggest next steps for planning, alert educators to available information they may not have seen, or catch potential problems, such as behaviors or co-existing conditions that institutions may have no experience with.

"The most important decisions you make are not the things you do, but the things you decide not to do."
